DEMONS WITHIN- SHROUD OF DECEPTION AND SELF TITLED DEMOS 2 IN 1 REVIEW!!

Here comes a malevolent onslaught 5 piece band known as Demons Within hailing from Ohio. Filled with groove sounding Death Metal riffs and beats that will excel to a higher level of intensity and reach numerous extreme music fans around the world. Vocals that are exceptionally barbaric guttural growls and brutal screams which are surpassing most vocalists nowadays. Both of these Demos are utterly striking with each song represented in each. Having shared the same stage as United By Hate, this band is on the prowl and ready to attack its prey. Both demos are a bit different sounding with the production, but I have to give this band a lot of credit for how talented they are. With a crushing blow to the head, the self titled Demo receives a 5/5 stars because of the song Heaven Shall Burn which I feel is the most fierce one on the demo. However the Demo entitled Shroud of Deception gets a 4.5/5 stars only because I didn't find the production quality to be as bad ass as the first one mentioned, but this band is stellar in its style and will continue to do so and  be one that should be in any metal fans collection. So if you like bands like United By Hate, Lamb of God & Cannibal Corpse (with Chris Barnes), to name a few, then give the band Demons Within an ear so you can hear and listen to what they're all about. Trust me, you won't be unsatisfied. So metalheads, until next time...this is EVILVENGEANCE666 saying KEEP SUPPORTING UNDERGROUND METAL, UNDERGROUND NOISE AND KEEP YOUR HORNS UP!!! \m/-_-\m/

EXMORTUS/HATCHET/DAEMONIUS SHOW

EXMORTUS

HATCHET

DAEMONIUS

This entry was meant to be written a month ago, but felt I'd wait it out until now and tell all of you about this awesome show that went down one night here in Las Vegas New Mexico. Both Exmortus & Hatchet hailing from California threw down some killer sounding Thrash & Heavy Metal that night that just tore it up in a small crowd that made it feel like thousands were there. Local Black/Death Metal band Daemonius was there to support and open up the show along with showing what they've got with a couple of new songs which are very amazing indeed. A few instances with both Exmortus & Hatchet was the intricate and technical solos that each of the guitarists had played and talk about INCREDIBLE & STUNNING SKILLS!!! This one for instance with Exmortus was when Conan & David did back to back guitar playing opposite guitars doing magnificent solos which was once a Van Halen move, but it just impressed this town so much that we wanted more! All of these bands deserve recognition and major props for their kick ass devotion for Underground Metal and their terrific attitudes which makes them definitely fun dudes to party with after a show, during a show and before the show as well. This show is one that is clearly one that won't ever be forgotten and is remarkably one of the best I've ever witnessed to appreciate for the value of how much fun it was for sure. If it wasn't for Clarisse, my girlfriend for putting on the show, then we wouldn't have had a show. I'm so glad it happened and all of these bands and her as well deserve the utmost respect and hails because of bringing METAL to a whole new level, so BRING MORE!!!! Also might I add, it was cool to chill with both bands Exmortus & Hatchet on my lunch break at work and after the show as well. Anyhow my metalhead friends across the globe, send me some feedback. Let me know if there are any bands you are looking for me to review or interview. This is EVILVENGEANCE666 saying, later!!!!!

BLOODSHOT DAWN- SELF TITLED ALBUM REVIEW

Here's a really cool band you should check out known as Bloodshot Dawn.  Matching their Melodic Death Metal sounds with Thrash Metal is what will grind you into a new dimension of the unknown. Promising riffs that will please listeners of Dark Tranquillity (without keyboards though), Gorguts, Necrophagist, Obscura and Dethklok to name a few. Bloodshot Dawn is very technical and very crushing. The guitar tones are insanely one that are very intense, drums that are clear as day, great bass lines and vocals that will slash your chest. This band is totally one you should have in your collection if you don't by now. So if you want a severe beating, then look no further because Bloodshot Dawn really packs a mean punch, just to be warned. This is their debut album, and I believe that the world audience will enjoy and have something new to look forward to. Coming from The United Kingdom is where the band Bloodshot Dawn dwell. This 11 song album which is self-titled will tear you apart and not let go until it wants more of you to listen to them. For being a debut album, I'm going to throw this band a 4.75/5 stars only because I can definitely see this band growing more energetic over time along with how they have enforced their own killer sound regardless. So metalheads, if you like the UK metal scene, don't let this one slip by you because Bloodshot Dawn deserves a chance to hit the road and see the skies of the lands around the planet for years to come. Just remember these few things. Support the Underground Metal scene, support Bloodshot Dawn, support Underground Noise & MOST OF ALL METALHEADS: KEEP YOUR HORNS UP!!!! This is EVILVENGEANCE666 signing off. \m/-_-\m/

INFERNAL TENEBRA- NEW FORMED REVELATIONS (ALBUM REVIEW)

Eight tracks of superb intense Death/Thrash/Black Metal is what makes this impressive third full length. Hailing from the land of Croatia is where you'll find the mighty four piece band known as Infernal Tenebra. If you're into bands like Vader, Kreator, early Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, Carcass and Dark Tranquillity to name a few, then you won't hesitate to spin with this album shredding your ears. Every song is full of virtue, exuberant & astonishingly excellent ways of being composed. This is a band and album you won't want to pass up! Combining three elements of metal to their sound is what makes Infernal Tenebra stand out from a lot of Underground Metal bands. These Croatians came to dominate for being leaders in the genre of music in their country. They really blast away in some spots, and in other spots the solos involve a lot of tapping sweep arpeggio type skills in order to provide the listener with clarity and diversity with harmonization and brutal catchy rhythmic riffs. If you are into extreme music, then don't hesitate any further and pick up this killer album. It's one that will leave you exhilarated and wanting to taste more of what Infernal Tenebra has to offer. Vocals that are abyssal and guttural mixed with mid-range screams along with a small touch of clean vocals as well. Immerse your yourselves into Infernal Tenebra's world and be embraced by the actions of their proficiency to prove to the world that they have expertise in what they do. I can't really find a favorite song on this album, and I guess you could say that the whole album is by far a marvelous masterpiece in its abundance and great ambition and ability, which shouldn't be missed by any Metal music fan for that matter. So if you're looking for something NEW to check out, give Infernal Tenebra a jam, and jam the whole album all the way through. New Found Revelations is getting a 5/5 stars based on just how fascinating the whole album was created, produced and the artwork is wickedly effective to get just about anyone who loves this stuff to go out and support the band. Until next time METALHEADS around the Earth, KEEP SUPPORTING UNDERGROUND METAL, SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MUSIC SCENE, SUPPORT UNDERGROUND NOISE AND INFERNAL TENEBRA AND MOST OF ALL METALHEADS: ALWAYS KEEP YOUR HORNS UP!! \m/-_-\m/ EVILVENGEANCE666

A DEADLY WISH- LIFE MINUS YOU (ALBUM REVIEW)

Take this awesome four piece band known as A Deadly Wish and fuse the sounds of Metalcore with a small touch of Death Metal and that's what makes this band a promising band to anyone who is into this style of music. Coming from California is A Deadly Wish, one that destroys LIVE as well as in the studio. Awesome harmonic with brutal riffs and scathing screaming vocals with a blend of growling and some clean vocals that made me a believer that this band will get stronger and much more kick ass in time. If you like bands like Devildriver, A Day To Remember and As I Lay Dying, then these guys are right up your alley. The album Life Minus You focuses the listener into a realm that will make them want more of A Deadly Wish. This band will grow on you. They have an ability to express their talent fluently and are very impressive. If you are looking for a NEW Metalcore band to check out, don't pass up this band called A Deadly Wish. Life Minus You is getting a 5/5 stars just based on who and how they are and sound. Very cool guys to chill with before and after a show for sure. MAGNANIMVS- STORMS OF CHAOTIC REVELATIONS (ALBUM REVIEW)

Who's ready to have their ears blasted once again? Take this 3 piece band known as Magnanimvs & dive into their world of super intense and thundering relentless drum blasting with killer double bass drumming that is abysmal, bass tones that are unfathomable and dark which smash your face in, guitar that has swirling pinched harmonics in the second song called The Dark Spear of Condemnation and vocals which bash in your skull with with a sledgehammer. Magnanimvs are a high tech blend compounded of Black Metal & Death Metal. This band will batter you to no end from start to finish, this is one bad ass album which makes the listeners a bit more aware that some bands are getting stronger with what they do. Magnanimvs won't disappoint fans of Behemoth, early Vader, Immortal, Krisiun & Gorgoroth to name a few. If you like your metal extreme as hell, then this will quench your thirst for more than what you probably had expected. Storms of Chaotic Revelations is getting a 5/5 stars based on how incredible this album is within its entirety. INTERVIEW WITH FORMER SUFFOCATION DRUMMER MICHAEL SMITH!!!

Here's the LATEST interview for Underground Noise. I'm very honored and excited to announce that Michael Smith former drummer of legendary band Suffocation is now in the band Synesis Absorption, and here to answer my questions. Without any further do, here it is!!

UN: What prompted you to become a musician?

MS: Most everyone in my family is heavily into music, in one form or another It's in my blood. I've always been surrounded by instruments and singing and all things involved. It was a natural path for me.

UN: What do you like best about being a drummer?

MS: Drummers are responsible for adding the different emotions to a song. With the beat you can direct the attention of the listeners to follow all else that is going on in the song. If you have flavor to do so, of course.

UN: Since you've departed from Suffocation, do you miss anything about being with them?

MS: I don't miss being with the individuals, I definitely felt held back with the progression of the band. The mentality was just old, and not aggressive enough to take advantage of the current industry. My goal is always to evolve and influence others to evolve. I miss being in the face of the fans, nothing else.

UN: Where has been your favorite place to perform and why?

MS: NY & Los Angeles. NY is my home and California is just metal all day and night.

UN: How did you get into Death Metal & Extreme Metal?

MS: I'm into all forms of music one way or another, but I chose to find the least understood and obscure form of music in order to stay constantly challenged and differ from mainstream music.

UN: What is your favorite type of drums to use?

MS: Properly tuned and maintained ones. It doesn't matter which brand, if all the pieces are there, I will play the same.

UN: Who are your most major influences, both personally and musically?

MS: My parents. They've housed every band I've played in and allowed us to create our craft to what it is today. Not many parents would do the same, especially Death Metal. Other than that I'm influenced by the skill level of the musicians in Jazz and Classical and the singing and the musical influence of the Motown era.

UN: Do you have a career besides music?

MS: Since I've left the touring life, by day I'm a Metal Fabricator. I weld and create shit the world needs and uses daily from raw steel. I'm a drum teacher, as well a hired studio drummer when I'm not at the day job.

UN: Any last words for Underground Noise?

MS: The music industry is on a steady decline....but the musicians will always remain and be the most important element. If we as musicians focus on getting back into just writing music, sharing, owning and raising the bar one song at a time, we will quickly find out that we didn't need the "industry". The musician will always speak the loudest. I've been busy working the platform for all of us. Musicians, check it out. www.dmmcompany.com

MAD ARCHITECT- JOURNEY TO MADNESS (ALBUM REVIEW)

One band which launched out of Gothenburg Sweden who is making its debut, is Mad Architect. The band happened to team up with American guitarist Erik Ferentinos of The Anti-Division & The Stephen Pearcy Band to perform bass on this release. The best way to describe Mad Architect is dark, progressive, melodic, atmospheric power metal with a dab of death metal and some black metal influences. This band traps the listener by tearing at its soul with its very impressive opus. If you're a fan of Dark Tranquillity, Dimmu Borgir & In Flames, then you won't resist this band. Snowy Shaw who is originally a drummer, performs his vocal technique with grim snarls and very raspy clean vocals. He has also played with the likes of Therion back in 2006, King Diamond, Dimmu Borgir, Dream Evil & Mercyful Fate and is currently touring with Sabaton. He's also photographed bands such as: Therion, Amon Amarth & a few others. Despite being a debut album, this album is very amazing and very arcane within its own eruption, to make known what Journey To Madness is all about. The intro called Echoes From Beyond is a magnificent yet dreary and captivating instrumental. So metalheads, if you like the bands I've mentioned above, or follow the members who make up this band, then you'll want to assail your ears with Mad Architect. With a very obscure sound, this album is getting a 5/5 stars based on everything it has in it. My personal favorite song is Universal Law, but it will grow on you. Until next time METALHEADS...KEEP SUPPORTING THE UNDERGROUND METAL SCENE, SUPPORT LOCAL METAL MUSIC & MOST OF ALL: KEEP THOSE HORNS UP!!! EVILVENGEANCE666 \m/-_-\m/

PSILOCYBE LARVAE- THE LABYRINTH OF PENUMBRA (ALBUM REVIEW)

Melodic sounds entwined with dark Gothic & Black Metal riffs & shrieks along with some deep inhuman sounding growls is what makes Psilocybe Larvae's NEW album unique. Psilocybe Larvae's new album provides the listeners & fans with an awesome & terrorizing skill that is top notch like Dimmu Borgir, if not better. The Labyrinth of Penumbra shows the band's strength by how much they've matured both musically and lyrically. To sum it up, PL is very experimental in many elements. Some bands do that sort of thing to make the listeners wonder as to what might be next, but this band always guarantees a great amount of intensity that is just for the right audience. If you like twisted sounding melodies with some acoustic and ambient sounds, then this band is right up your alley along with some sheer brutality in the vocals as well as the music. As far as TLOP goes, this album is getting a 5/5 stars based on their creativity and ambition to make their own sound far different than most bands who are out today and for being an onslaught to those who haven't heard them before. Until next time METALHEADS, keep your horns up and keep supporting the UNDERGROUND METAL SCENE!!! EVILVENGEANCE666 \m/-_-\m/

BLOOD TRIBE- REPULSE (EP REVIEW)

Coming from Evansville Indiana is where you'll find the mighty 5 piece Death Metal band, Blood Tribe. Suffocating vocals that are deep and brutal screams like Divine Empire & early Cannibal Corpse, guitar riffs and drum beats that will crush your bones and bash in your skull with endless superb sound and quality just like the legendary Decapitated. In some spots of their songs, they remind me of early Napalm Death as well. With being a band that stands out from some, this one is promising. If you're into bands like Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death & Blood Red Throne, then you ought to get a hold of Repulse by Blood Tribe. Amazing chord progressions and great slides with what riffs they've created makes Blood Tribe really sick and astonishing. Blood Tribe is another band signed to Dark Harvest Records and shouldn't be passed up. A band this good will make your eardrums explode. However, I'm sure many bands do just that, but this one will do it much faster and better. So if you like the bands I've mentioned, you'll fall in love with Blood Tribe and you'll be happy you did. With all of that said everyone, this EP is getting a 5/5 stars. I highly recommend them to fans of any age and any metalhead that is out there looking for something NEW to check out. So, keep the Underground Music scene alive, support your local music scene, support metal period!! Also, most of all metalheads, KEEP YOUR HORNS UP!! \m/-_-\m/ EVILVENGEANCE666

BALOR'S EYE-LORCAN (EP REVIEW)

Some bands don't get enough recognition, but if you take this 5 piece band coming from Baltimore Maryland known as Balor's Eye; you won't be disappointed. They've got music which sounds better than Dysrhythmia. Taking technical metal to a whole different level in their own way makes this band stamps out many bands that can't do what they do. These guys know how to let one have it by blending their own sound into something very innovating to fans of any metal style. This EP should be a part of your music collection, that is if it isn't by now. With spots that are brutal like Cannibal Corpse & some technical parts along the lines of Necrophagist & Blotted Science. Swirling guitars and sweeps and drums that are pounded out to beat on anyone's brain to make them proud of what Balor's Eye can and will do for years to come. Even though it's an all instrumental EP, some will like it and maybe some won't. So metalheads, if you like bands like Dysrhythmia, Blotted Science, Sleep Terror, The Dillinger Escape Plan & Cannibal Corpse, then check out Balor's Eye. Perhaps it'll make you a believer too by giving them a listen or two or three. With all of this said, this EP is getting a 5/5 stars just by how technically insane the music is and by being a band signed to Dark Harvest Records makes it awesome too! Anyhow metalheads, that is it for this review. Keep the Underground ALIVE, support underground music and your local music scene & MOST OF ALL: KEEP THOSE HORNS UP!!! \m/-_-\m/ EVILVENGEANCE666

PSILOCYBE LARVAE- NON-EXISTENCE (ALBUM REVIEW)

Hailing all the way from Russia is this 5 piece melodic Black Metal/Death Metal band known as Psilocybe Larvae, which were born into the world back in 1996. With sharing the same stage as Marduk, Testament, Aborted & Cryptopsy; Psilocybe Larvae is one to make headbangers, headbang even MORE. Crushing craniums with superb quality riffing, drum beats that maul & smack the listener with ferocious blasts & vocals that can best be described as scathing  & scorching your soul to eternity in doom. With eerie yet harmonic and nostalgic sounding keyboards as well. Psilocybe Larvae are a band of sheer brilliance. Giving this CD a few spins will make the listener be consumed by its content and will definitely show them just how efficient and professional sounding they are and for the simple fact they have a great amount of experience. Psilocybe Larvae doesn't have to prove anything to anyone, they know that their music is potent and ready to infect. The songs are so highpowered, it's almost unbelievably amazing that will drive you to want to hear it again. Influenced by J.S. Bach, you can totally witness to know that Psilocybe Larvae has a very awesome amount of intensity with everything they do. If you like bands such as Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Immortal & Gorgoroth to name a few; then you need to grab yourself a copy of Non-Existence by Psilocybe Larvae. The whole album in its own merit is epic and gets a 5/5 stars based on just how killer Psilocybe Larvae is and I'm pretty damn sure that this band will keep progressing with time and determination to keep listeners on their toes and continue to do so for the sake of awesome metal! So metalheads around the globe, KEEP SUPPORTING UNDERGROUND METAL, SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MUSIC SCENE AND MOST OF ALL: KEEP THOSE HORNS UP!!!! FINAL CURSE- WAY OF THE ACCURSED (ALBUM REVIEW)

Back in 2006 is when this substantial Thrash Metal band was formed in the area of Charlotte North Carolina. This 4 piece band known as Final Curse dominates with riffs and beats that are hard as nails and vocals that will remind you of Destruction, Iced Earth and Sodom on many levels. The song Biltmore starts out with a very impressive acoustic guitar that is one to please anyone's ears greatly. With harmonizing guitar solos in this song, it just goes to show that Final Curse is out for blood and won't stop at anything until they're finished with what they have come to do. Final Curse has a previous album before this one of being their sophmore album. I'm a believer that this band is goin' for more than just one goal in life, and they are very talented musicians with brutal catchy riffs along with harmonizing guitar solos which brings out a killer amount of intensity along with diversity in their sound. If you like bands like Vader, Slayer, Destruction & Sodom, then Final Curse should be in your hands by now. This album Way of the Accursed gets a 5/5 stars based on their amazing talent. Plus by being signed to Dark Harvest Records, that's good for them!  So everyone, you know what to do. KEEP YOUR HORNS UP AND CONTINUE TO SUPPORT UNDERGROUND METAL AND HEADBANG!!! RIFFE- (EP REVIEW)

Here's another band coming from Texas known as Riffe. This 4 piece band is similar to the band First Turn and is also very good. From the show I had seen with their performance by giving out FREE EP's, while checking them out onstage was really entertaining. The best way I can describe Riffe's sound is Alternative & a little bit of pop and some punk influence too. However, Riffe has great songs and I don't even know any of the names of them, but that's okay. This band is determined to be one that just might hit the radio waves someday. Based on their non-bullshit beliefs, they can really touch the heart in many ways. They sound a bit like modern hard rock in some spots too, and to tell you the truth, they sound better than most bands you hear on everyday radio stations. With being something new to my ears, I have listened to this 6 song EP a total of 10 times so far, and I enjoy it each time I hear it. This band is getting a 5/5 stars because of how progressive sounding in a lot of their music is. Riffe is a band that isn't one to be passed up and is a worth while experience that won't be forgotten. Until next time everyone, you know what to do: Keep the Underground ALIVE, keep supporting metal & most of all, KEEP THOSE HORNS UP!! EVILVENGEANCE666 \m/-_-\m/

FIRST TURN- TOUCH ME (ALBUM REVIEW)

Here is a hard rock fused band along with the likes of straight up metal. Tearing it up all the way from Texas is this band known as First Turn. Their sound is like a combination of Thrice, Thursday & Matchbox Twenty to name a few. If you're into the bands mentioned, then you'll love First Turn and come to find out, the band is unsigned at this current time. I can definitely see this band getting on the Billboard charts someday possibly. First Turn will definitely be one band that can gain fans instantly based on their unique modern sound for hard rock. Some of the songs I had found to be their best are Lupita Chavez, Something To Believe & The First Night. I normally don't review bands that sound like some mainstream artists, but this band had made me feel good just by being themselves and they're awesome dudes to party with, and I am giving First Turn a 5/5 stars because of their originality and musicianship. This band some would think as "EMO," but on an honest opinion; they're NOT like that by any means. They are definitely a band that I consider to be really talented in a post hardcore kind of way. Well, as said before, it may not be Death Metal this time around, but if you're into hard rockin' metal, then this band will totally make you a believer that they're awesome. So everyone, until next time, keep those horns up!!!!! \m/-_-\m/ EVILVENGEANCE666

ALL THAT BLEEDS- A DAY OF RECKONING (DEMO REVIEW)

How many bands use 8 string guitars? Take this 4 piece band from Texas known as All That Bleeds who does that along with a 6 string bass that will deafen ears, vocals that will crucify you and drums that will hit you like an oncoming freight train. Hailing from El Paso Texas is where you'd find the ferocious and brutal band, All That Bleeds. In a way, the vocals and guitars remind me of new school Death Metal and a bit melodic too like Devildriver and early Gorgasm to name a couple. The song Dead Cell Battery is one to get people moving to start a pit, but if that doesn't happen; then you're lame.  Only kidding of course, but this band pummels, rips & shreds unlike some bands in the underground scene to make a NEW listener a fan INSTANTLY. ATB is guaranteed to get heavier as time goes on, and this EP is getting a 5/5 stars from Underground Noise. Although not many bands sound like All That Bleeds, so friggin' what! This band will engulf you and then spit you out. Having shared the stage with the likes of Revocation, The Faceless, Smells Like Someone Died & Soulfly to name a few, this band is one to look out for.  So metalheads, that does it for this review. Until next time, keep the UNDERGROUND ALIVE, KEEP THE METAL ALIVE & MOST OF ALL, KEEP THOSE HORNS UP!! EVILVENGEANCE666 \m/-_-\m/

SMELLS LIKE SOMEONE DIED- PASSAGE TO HADES (EP REVIEW)

With claiming their own style which can be described as Funeral Thrash, this West coast Texas band known as Smells Like Someone Died infiltrate the listener with some Thrash Metal riffs & vocals, along with some groove and some Death Metal growls too. SLSD in some spots sound like Cannibal Corpse vocally like back when Barnes was in it and a tad like Devildriver a little bit. The ambient intro called Funeral Cacophony is quite impressive for those who like ambient sounding keyboards and effects. Even seeing them LIVE will show the fans that SLSD is capable of ripping them a new one. Overall, this band has shared the stage with bands like Psycroptic, Abigail Williams, All That Bleeds, Plagues & Origin to name a few. Smells Like Someone Died is a band of dynamic sounds within their talents and I can definitely see this band growing on someone just by the first listen. So if you like bands like Devildriver, Cannibal Corpse & Origin, then I MUST recommend Smells Like Someone Died, and if they don't get you moving to their beat, then you are doing something totally wrong! This EP gets a 5/5 stars based on their musicianship and also their own creative way of coining their own sound. Until next time metalheads, keep the Underground Metal scene alive, keep supporting METAL & MOST OF ALL;  ALWAYS KEEP THOSE HORNS UP FOREVER!!! EVILVENGEANCE666 \m/-_-\m/

I AM THE TRIREME- UNHOLY (EP REVIEW)

If you're into symphonic sounding black metal/ death metal, then I Am the Trireme is just for you. Coming out of Philadelphia PA is this amazing 5 piece band. Striking compositions that are moving, catchy & most of all original. Featuring sounds for fans of Dimmu Borgir & Dark Tranquillity to name a couple. Poisoning screams that attack like a snake. This 5 song EP has very good potential and I can definitely see this band growing on the listener as they hear something NEW with a bit of some old school sounds as well. Personally speaking, my favorite song off of Unholy would be I Am Many. Which happens to be an old track taking from their previous release in 2010. Talk about some great musicianship and brutal, that song is killer. The double bass drums are low enough so they sound great without having to sound like popcorn unlike some bands have been doing for a while now. So metalheads, this EP gets a 5/5 stars and it's quite great to hear NEW bands that are doing what these guys are. Until next time everyone, this is EVILVENGEANCE666 telling y'all to keep those horns UP!! \m/-_-\m/ SUPPORT UNDERGROUND METAL!!!!

THINNING THE HERD- OCEANS RISE (ALBUM REVIEW)

If you like Corrosion of Conformity, then you'll love Thinning the Herd. This band is a great combination of stoner metal & hard rock fused riffs and beats that will get fans to endure what TTH is capable of. A little bit like Black Label Society & Alice in Chains too in some spots. The album is guaranteed to reach out to those who are accepting of this style of music. Forget the mainstream, the underground music scene is much more exciting anyway. Raspy vocals at times, striking drums & a bit of groove to their riffs is what makes this band unique. Thinning the Herd can mellow out anyone even if they're not into stoner metal. I'd have to say that I like the whole album and can't quite place a favorite song on it. I highly recommend this, and I give it a 5/5 stars for being of superb quality and the production is very excellent.  They are a bit bluesy, might I add. The sound isn't too overwhelming like some bands can be nowadays.  Also to add, I want to grant my condolences to the family of the band's former drummer who passed away and the members of the band as well.  Anyhow metalheads until next time, this is EVILVENGEANCE666 saying KEEP YOUR HORNS UP!! \m/-_-\m/ KEEP THE UNDERGROUND ALIVE!!!!!

DAEMONIUS- SELF-TITLED (ALBUM REVIEW)

If you like bands such as; Belphegor, Behemoth & Immortal...then Daemonius is right up your alley. This 5 piece band hailing from Las Vegas New Mexico is an amazing & talented blend of Black Metal & Death Metal. Catering to new and old fans, Daemonius is a promising band that won't disappoint. If you see them LIVE, you can clearly see and hear that they are perfectionists at what they do. They pull off an amazing cover of a Dark Funeral song and trust me, even though they didn't include it on their debut album, they kicked its ass LIVE. Daemonius punishes the listener by bashing in their skulls with striking drums, fervent guitars & bass & vocals that will lacerate your soul into dust. Their songs are very avant garde kvlt and raw. However, some may agree or disagree that the vocals sound a bit distorted, but whatever...Daemonius is a tight band for the LIVE performances they do and what they do in the studio also. Anyhow everyone, this album gets a 4.75/5 stars only because I think the vocals could have been a bit better due to them sounding distorted, but other than that it's a great debut album regardless. So metalheads across the world, keep your horns up and support your local music scene & support the UNDERGROUND!!!! EVILVENGEANCE666 \m/-_-\m/
