GOEMAGOT- BAND REVIEW

For being a 3 piece band whose music will leave you skinless, only then will you become submerged into this band's intensity. By doing that, they'll end up impaling you. I'm pretty goddamn sure by now that Goemagot is dominating and tearing up Rochester's metal scene! One of the founding members is Cody McConnell and is my personal good friend too. Being a 607 native, now he's located in Rochester NY with his girlfriend Alison. The band has been recently signed by Barret Amiss II who is the head honcho behind Sevared Records and will be releasing the bands DEMO which you can see by the picture, it's name is "Parasitic Incineration" on June 23rd. It will feature 3 songs, which below I posted their full length song "Anthropophagy In the Womb." This band has a lot of potential from what I have heard and from what I've seen. Cody's vocals are sick and are amazing gurgles that go beyond what some bands can't do or won't do. His bass playing has improved immensely by being in Goemagot and he shreds something fierce, just as talented as Alex Webster in Cannibal Corpse, these two badasses know how to create such amazing music. This band being a combination of Grindcore, Death Metal and Slam will show you how to get the job done. Being a band that I can actually sit down with a cup of coffee in one hand, and a cigarette in the other and as much as it's grown on me, it may grow on you. 5/5 stars for these newcomers to the scene of brutality! Recommended if you like bands such as: Wormed, Abominable Putridity, Brain Drill, Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus & Devourment to name a few. Until next time everyone EVILVENGEANCE666 is outta here!
