PSILOCYBE LARVAE- THE LABYRINTH OF PENUMBRA (ALBUM REVIEW)

Melodic sounds entwined with dark Gothic & Black Metal riffs & shrieks along with some deep inhuman sounding growls is what makes Psilocybe Larvae's NEW album unique. Psilocybe Larvae's new album provides the listeners & fans with an awesome & terrorizing skill that is top notch like Dimmu Borgir, if not better. The Labyrinth of Penumbra shows the band's strength by how much they've matured both musically and lyrically. To sum it up, PL is very experimental in many elements. Some bands do that sort of thing to make the listeners wonder as to what might be next, but this band always guarantees a great amount of intensity that is just for the right audience. If you like twisted sounding melodies with some acoustic and ambient sounds, then this band is right up your alley along with some sheer brutality in the vocals as well as the music. As far as TLOP goes, this album is getting a 5/5 stars based on their creativity and ambition to make their own sound far different than most bands who are out today and for being an onslaught to those who haven't heard them before. Until next time METALHEADS, keep your horns up and keep supporting the UNDERGROUND METAL SCENE!!! EVILVENGEANCE666 \m/-_-\m/
