MARASMUS- INFINITE TORTURE (NEW 2014 EP REVIEW)

If you liked Mountains of Dead, then you are going to fucking LOVE the new EP coming soon by Marasmus entitled Infinite Torture. Badass shredding as always with brutal guitars that have added some harmonies to their sound, but bringing a disease with what they do which no one will be able to rid themselves of. Trust me, this NEW EP is EPIC. From what I've heard I am going to give a 9.5/10 stars just by how this band has expanded their sound into a NEW dimension of Extreme Metal music, and I don't think the band gets enough credit. Marasmus has had many opportunities to share the stage with bands like Nile & Overkill to name a couple. So until next time metalheads across the world: KEEP SUPPORTING THE UNDERGROUND METAL SCENE, SUPPORT MARASMUS, SUPPORT UNDERGROUND NOISE, SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MUSIC SCENE, AND YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER BY NOW...KEEP YOUR HORNS UP!!!! \m/-_-\m/ This is your friend Alex Stockholm signing off for now, also known as EVILVENGEANCE666!! PLOY FOR EXTINCTION- PRIMORDIAL (ALBUM REVIEW)

Here comes a kick ass melodic death metal band known as Ploy For Extinction. These 4 dudes are based out of Denver Colorado where they stand out from a lot of bands nowadays. Having a very unique sound is what makes PFE amazing. It reminds me of early In Flames, At The Gates & Imperanon (R.I.P.). This band can go from really hard and catchy shredding riffs to random acoustic interludes to beautiful, melodic twin guitar attack solos. Ferocious vocals, blazing guitars, bass & destructive drums. If you are into the bands I've mentioned, then hit up Ploy For Extinction. This is a band I believe will make people headbang with purpose.  Added clean vocals make them interesting and diverse to the listener. I'd have to say that Primordial is a good album indeed. I will give this album 8/10 stars. I like them. To me, they do have a melodic death metal sound along with a catchy thrash metal influence. Until next time ladies and gents, this is your friend EVILVENGEANCE666 signing off for now. JAY BARNES VOCALIST FROM LUST OF DECAY INTERVIEW!!!!!

All right everyone, it's about time Underground Noise is over with its break. I have received answers from Jay Barnes from Lust of Decay to help promote this web-zine and his band. I must say, I am a proud owner of the album Kingdom of Corpses and can't wait to enjoy their NEW stuff once it's out. So here is the latest with Underground Noise & Jay Barnes from Lust of Decay.

UN: What prompted you to become a musician?

JB: Well what prompted me to be a musician when I was growing up was to get girls lmao, but then I grew to love the music more and more. I was listening to bands like Iron Maiden, Slayer & Metal Church to name a few. A friend of mine turned me on to Obituary, Sepultura & Death. It warped my mind and I was like, "This is the music I want to play." By the way, I was a bass player before becoming a vocalist. I'm a better vocalist than a bass player lol.

UN: What has been your favorite country to perform in?

JB: My favorite place to play is in the good ole USA for now. We've got some plans to spread the sickness to the world in 2015, so stay posted. Some of my favorites are; South Carolina, Colorado, Nevada & New York to name a few. I have loved everywhere I've played for sure.

UN: What song by your band is your favorite and why?

JB: I have two favorites. Scarification off of Purity Through Dismemberment & Crustacean Masturbation from Kingdom of Corpses. I love Scarification because the music makes me want to jump in the pit and bust someone's head and the reason I love Crustacean Masturbation is because it's the only song I helped write with an instrument, so it's kind of my baby lol.

UN: Who are your influences both musically and personally?

JB: My influences musically are Deicide, Death, Sinister, King Diamond, Lividity, old Morbid Angel, Dark Angel and Hate Eternal. My personal influence goes to my friend Scott Strange. In my opinion, he was ahead of his time. His band Necrocist was around when Morbid Angel was starting out in Charlotte NC. Morbid Angel is originally from Charlotte, and Scott's band sounded a lot like them. He introduced me to them when I was younger. He taught me everything about being a real musician.

UN: What do you find to be the most difficult while touring and do you keep in contact with the fans you meet?

JB: The hardest thing about touring is getting enough sleep and the long rides, but playing for our brothers and sisters of metal makes it all worth it. I really love touring and meeting new people and places. Yes, I do stay in touch with people I have met on the road and fellow musicians.

UN: What is next for Lust of Decay?

JB: What's next for LOD is for us to write a new album, it's been way too long. We'd like to get back on the road and tour again. We are working on making this happen right now. Stay tuned into our site for more info.

UN: How would you describe Lust of Decay's music to those who don't know about you?

JB: The only way I can describe our music is fast, groovy, slamming breakdowns with technical parts along with machine gun drumming and gutter vomit pig vocals and we like to write songs about sexually disturbing things.

UN: Any last words for Underground Noise?

JB: I would like to thank Underground Noise for the interview. It is an honor. Thanks also for supporting the Death Metal scene. Until next time, keep it sick and brutal. Thanks again brother!

Solace of Requiem will be releasing their newest full length album in 11 days entitled, Casting Ruin. This 3 piece Black/ Death Metal band provides the listener with beyond brutal rhythms and leads. The band has become more progressive and sophisticated in their musical style as evidenced by their intricate, high-tech songwriting expertise. Casting Ruin is a masterpiece from start to finish and will leave you wanting MORE of what SOR has to offer. This band breaks a major barrier that few have dared to cross, proving that they are capable of anything. NUMBER ONE GOOGLE SEARCH!!!

Earlier today I had felt to do a random search for shits and giggles on Google for results on Underground Noise Facebook, and the first one that happened to pop up was mine. I am totally in awe about it. Not to brag, but this is awesome. I had never thought I'd see this happen. This is one of the BEST things that could have ever happened to me, or anyone. Well, metalheads progress and persistence pays off. In this case, it was unexpected and truly shows anything can happen at any time given, just got to take the time in order for those things to happen. KEEP YOUR HORNS UP EVERYONE!!!! HATE DIVISION- ORDER OF THE ENSLAVED (ALBUM REVIEW)

If you're ready for your ears to bleed profusely, then listen to this ferocious, savage & vicious 4 piece Death Metal band known as Hate Division. Fueled with sheer brilliance in brutal rhythms for both guitars and bass, drums that are compelling and dynamic & finally vocals that are utterly demonic gutturals along with some occasional screams. This band is powerful in every single way. Want high energy? Hate Division will get you in the mood to have just that along with headbanging so hard that you might become comatose if you aren't careful. If you're looking for a band that can cause a massacre in a mosh pit, then this is for you!! Thanks to Paul Shaw,  courtesy of the band to send me a copy. He is the man who operates Blasthead Records. I have had the honor of reviewing some bands he has sent my way, which will be featured in this web-zine as well. Order of the Enslaved is epic beyond words. They remind me of many bands like Human Infection & a bit like early Cannibal Corpse. Extreme to the fucking core! Blasting from Canada is where you'll find the band Hate Division. For this being the newest release by the band, I'll give them a 9.5/10 stars based on how compelling this album is. Until next time ladies & germs, this is EVILVENGEANCE666 TELLING YOU TO KEEP SUPPORTING THE UNDERGROUND METAL MUSIC SCENE, SUPPORT HATE DIVISION, SUPPORT UNDERGROUND NOISE...but most of all: KEEP THOSE HORNS UP!!! \m/-_-\m/
